REPORT
The PUBG – Push-up Battleground was organized by the Fitness Club on 18th and 19th September 2025 at the Seminar Hall of DYPBS. The event was specially designed for both PGDM and MBA students, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their strength, stamina, and determination.
The program was inaugurated on Day 1 by Dr. Asha Kiran (Academic Head), who officially cut the ribbon to mark the commencement of the competition. The atmosphere was filled with energy and enthusiasm as participants geared up for the elimination rounds.
On Day 2, the event reached greater heights when Dr. Amol Gawande (Vice Chancellor) joined the podium and, along with Mr. Ajeenckya Kulkarni (Fitness Club Coordinator), performed push-ups to motivate the students. Their participation, along with that of other faculty members, added excitement and set an inspiring example. The Seminar Hall was packed with students, creating an electrifying atmosphere with high engagement and cheering.

Event Structure & Highlights
Day 1 (18th September 2025) – Elimination Round
Boys’ Category: 8 rounds of 5 players each were conducted.
The top 2 players from each round advanced to the semi-finals.
Girls’ Category: 1 round of 5 participants was held, and the top 4 advanced to the finals.

Day 2 (19th September 2025) – Semi-Finals & Finals
Boys’ Semi-finals: 5 rounds of 3 players each were conducted.
The winners of each semi-final advanced to the final round.
Boys’ Final: Aditya Singh secured the 1st position, while Rikshit Chowdhury achieved 2nd position.
Girls’ Final: Kanchan Dadlani emerged as the winner in the female category.

The event was a groundbreaking success, with enthusiastic participation from both boys and girls. The unique categorization, along with strong faculty involvement, made it even more special and memorable for the students.

Event Impact
The Push-up Battleground achieved its purpose of promoting physical fitness and building a sense of resilience among students. It encouraged them to push their limits, compete with confidence, and value the importance of strength training. The event also fostered teamwork, discipline, and motivation, leaving participants with a sense of achievement and pride.
